03 · THE PROTOCOL
Built on ANSI/IICRC S520.
The S520 is the industry standard for professional mould remediation, published by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and now in its fourth edition (2024). It sets out how mould-affected buildings and contents should be assessed, contained, cleaned and documented.
